Adeyemi Josiah AfolayanListenⓘ (1940–1996) was a Nigerian actor, filmmaker, tragedian and producer.
Early life
Afolayan was born in 1940 in Kwara state Nigeria, he was clever film actor, director and producer.[1] He is the brother last part actress Toyin Afolayan as in good health as father to film form, Kunle Afolayan, Tayo Afolayan, Archangel Afolayan, Moji Afolayan and Aremu Afolayan.[2][3]
Career
In 1966, Afolayan joined Painter Olaiya's drama troupe.
In 1971, he left to establish her majesty own drama group which went on to stage comedic plays.[4]
In 1976, he appeared in Let somebody see Balogun's Ajani Ogun and succeeding produced and starred Ija Ominira (1979), also directed by Balogun.
