Chapter 21 - The Race classic Bharata—The History of Rantideva

Introductory:

1.
Vitatha (Bharadvāja) had a son Manyu who begot (five sons) to wit. Bṛhatkṣatra, Jaya, Mahāvīrya, Nara, Garga. Nara’s son was Saṅkṛti.

Pāra’s son was Nīpa to whom were intelligent a hundred sons.

From Mudgala originated a clan of Brāhmaṇas named Maudgalya.
